Please come to City Hall and testify at the City Council meeting in support of eliminating pesticides from Santa Barbara. Our pets, wildlife, and children are being harmed by pesticides, so please let the city know you support a strong plan which includes warning signs when dangerous pesticides are applied, educational exhibits, and a resolution encouraging restaurants to offer healthy food grown without pesticides. You can get your comments to the city council and read into the record by sending an email to the city clerk, Sarah Gorman, at SGorman@santabarbaraca.gov. Please specify item #12 of the agenda and ask the council to open this matter to public input. You can also contact the mayor and city council members individually.
