Kristen Sneddon for Mayor!

Indivisible Santa Barbara proudly endorses Kristen Sneddon for Mayor of the City of Santa Barbara … and we ask you to volunteer to support her.

Kristen will bring experienced, progressive leadership to the position of Mayor. She is a champion for the environment, with the expertise that comes from teaching Environmental Geology at Santa Barbara City College. She has stood with Indivisible and our partners in the 805 Immigrant Coalition to challenge the incursion of ICE into our community. She has worked tirelessly to address our City’s housing crisis, bringing forward a promise of affordability to our tenants and working families. She has a very strong work ethic, is knowledgeable, and is willing to help resolve difficult issues with integrity and a keen intellect.

But Kristen does more than merely check the boxes of greatest concern to Indivisible. Her personal qualities are also quite impressive. She has a rare capacity to listen, reason and build consensus. She is equal parts wisdom, strength and compassion.

Kristen has been endorsed by progressive stalwarts such as

• the County Democratic Party
• the Santa Barbara Teachers Association
• the Sierra Club
• County Supervisors Laura Capps, Roy Lee and Joan Hartmann
• Former State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson

With Kristen as Mayor, we’d have a kindred spirit at City Hall, one we could turn to for guidance and leadership. Kristen has been there every time we asked the City to do the right thing. Now’s the time to return the favor, because Kristen needs our help.

Please, consider making a donation to Kristen’s campaign (no matter how small) at THIS LINK. She is also looking to Indivisible members to volunteer to knock on doors, make phone calls and help her get the word out. To volunteer to help Kristen, CLICK HERE.

The choice for mayor is clear. When your ballot arrives in early October, please VOTE EARLY and enthusiastically for Kristen Sneddon for Mayor.
