Parents have been under enormous pressure since COVID-19 restrictions began as we’ve taken on new roles supervising at-home learning for our children and simultaneously maintained our existing commitments and responsibilities. Today, as more and more states and cities are lifting restrictions — whether or not the recommended benchmarks have been met — parents are faced with more difficult choices about how to manage our childrens’ safety, education, and social development.

Join Connecting Community to discuss these questions and more at the next session on Education & Parenting Under COVID, next Thursday at 1pm. Registration is required for the online video chat with members of the Women’s March Foundation Community, click to register: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJApdu6opzopHtD83weZAEBHXHAuhmqDBoW_.

They need your voice and experience in Connecting Community’s Education & Parenting Under COVID session! No one knows better than parents how our families have been responding to this crisis, and how we can best move forward to prioritize our childrens’ health and wellness. There are no easy answers when it comes to education and parenting in the midst of the pandemic and we all face difficult choices — so it’s time for the community to come together, listen, and learn.
