Insurance is supposed to protect your home or business in times of crisis. As our state faces challenges posed by the threat of wildfires and the on-going coronavirus pandemic, I’ve heard from members of our community that their homeowners insurance has been non-renewed, rates increased, or business interruption claims denied.

If you have concerns related to insurance amid the on-going threat of wildfires and COVID-19, please join me, Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson, Assemblymember Monique Limón, and Congressman Salud Carbajal, for a tele town hall on Wednesday, July 8 at 5:30 p.m. with California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara to have your questions answered.
