Join politically motivated locals who regularly use Indivisible’s guide in penning letters and signs. We’ll be cranking out beautiful postcards in support of Katie Hill’s campaign to take the usually red Congressional district in the Simi Valley, Lanchaster, Antelope Valley area. These are our neighbors and the race is extremely close. Voters there can use some encouragement, art, and gentle reminders to register. We’ll have art supplies to make your own, or ready-to-go postcards. We’ll also have easy sample scripts.
We’re pleased to announce that we’ve met our goal of about 300 cards to kids in foster centers on the Mexican side of the border. We will get a final count soon. On Sept. 15 our awesome friends at the Immigration Advocacy Collaborative will deliver them with the Mexican Consulate, along with a box-truck full of donated clothes and toys. So proud!
