FAQs:

How much does this course cost?
This course is entirely free.
How much work is this course?
This course takes approximately 4 hours per week for 6 weeks total.
Are there meetings?
There are no class meetings. The course is entirely online and asynchronous. Each week’s content is self-paced, according to a course schedule which will guide you through the content. You will interact with your cohort and myself through ongoing discussion boards about the material each week.
Who is this course for?
This course is for people who want to take a personal deep dive into better understanding racism, and who are willing to do the self-reflective and individual work necessary to effectively engage in antiracism. This course is not for folks who need to process externally in a room with other people in order to learn– while that type of processing is valuable, this course offers a chance to absorb deeply personal information at the learner’s own pace and take the necessary time to reflect on it internally and in your own everyday life. The design of this class is very intentional: the asynchronous online format maximizes the internalization of these often difficult concepts, requires personal accountability for your own learning, and offers an equitable learning option for people who cannot meet at designated times but still want the opportunity to learn.
