The Santa Barbara County Democratic Party is hosting the 10th Annual Roosevelt-Hamer Dinner with the theme “From Earth Day to Election Days, Let’s Get Out The Vote!” This event serves as their premier fundraising event of the year, and draws capacity crowds of Democratic activists, community leaders and elected officials.
SB Democrats are ready to fight hard to keep Salud Carbajal and Monique Limón in office, to elect Democrats to a wide range of local offices, to keep the super majority in the California State Senate, and to fight for a super majority in the Dstrict Assembly. 2018 is a critical year for the Democratic Party. It’s time to organize and harness all the new positive energy, the desire for change, and to turn the Congress from red to blue! With elections across the state, we must band together to protect our Democratic values. For this, we need your help.
Keynote Address will be by Assemblymember Tony Thurmond, Endorsed Democratic Party Candidate for State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
Master of Ceremonies: Geoff Green
This year’s event will honor:
* Ethan Bertrand: Democratic Future Award
* Daraka Larimore-Hall: Selma Rubin Democratic Leadership Award
* Central Coast Labor Council: Chris Lanier Solidarity Award
* Paula Perotte: Democratic Values Award
