Join the Unitarian Society Immigration/Refugee Response Team (IRRT) in a call to action in support of the 800,000 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA. The IRRT will be leading a congressional postcard-writing event and potluck. We will join together to write and send 1,000 postcards to members of congress to implore their support on the spring 2018 vote to ensure that DACA young people can remain in the United States without the fear of deportation and work toward the development of a path to citizenship.
Materials and instruction will be provided; we need you to come ready to write and bring a food item to share.
