When a traumatic event strikes, there can be collective impact of pain, loss, and anxiety that trickles down and has lasting psychological effects.
Are you troubled by the recent violence in Las Vegas? Do you find yourself on edge, in despair, or in need of hope during these difficult times? You are not alone! The Santa Barbara Response Network (SBRN), a local trauma response team, are hosting a community healing event to process and heal from the aftermath of this tragedy.
Let us resist violence and alienation with compassion and connection.
Volunteers will be on site to offer assistance to those needing to process trauma. For more information call: Contact: Jina Carvalho Jina@glendon.org (805) 452-6457 OR Anthony Rodriguez (805) 331-4136.
Hosted by Santa Barbara Response Network and Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara.
