The Coastal Commission has been one of the few agencies willing to stand up to Big Oil. The Commission has filed “cease & desist” orders against Sable for construction without permits (which Sable has ignored) and has asked for assurance that all damage to the fragile ecosystem be repaired (no response by Sable).
We need a good turnout to support the Commission as it votes on 3 items: a permanent Cease & Desist order,restoration of damaged land, and a fine for ignoring orders. Wear red or come early for a red t-shirt.
