About this event

Note: This *FREE* event is to be attended online.

Making the world a better place starts with making ourselves better!

Polarization in conversations about political differences is widespread today. In this experiential presentation, participants will use Appreciative Inquiry to explore conversations that have helped bridge social or political differences successfully. Appreciative Inquiry is a powerful method that focuses on finding strengths and positive outcomes that have been helpful in the past. You can then leverage those resources in current and future conversations. Following presentation, participants will be moved to breakout rooms and have a chance to review and practice reflective listening – a skill that focuses on listening to accurately understand what someone says. This session will help you more effectively advocate your ideas and understand others’ views better.
