The Alliance invites you to a program “Power Against Fraud.” This presentation by the District Attorney’s office will discuss financial abuse of seniors, which is being called the crime of the 21st century. The program will cover current scams in our community including identity theft, internet fraud, telemarketing/sweepstakes scams, annuity and insurance fraud. We will learn how seniors can better protect themselves, and what to do if you or someone you know is the target/victim of Elder Financial Abuse.
Join The Alliance the first Friday of each month from October to June for a stimulating presentation and the informal talk and delicious afternoon treat that follows. All are welcome: USSB congregants, friends, neighbors, and men and women of all ages. Contributions of some goodies to share is appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you.
