Indivisible Santa Barbara is looking for a new logo! It will be used on our website, Facebook and Twitter pages, brochures, banners, handouts, merchandise, and to identify ISB at rallies, town halls, and just about anywhere visibility is needed. We’re asking members and friends to submit their best efforts for our new identity. Samples of other Indivisible logos are shown for variety and inspiration. Emailed submissions are due September 18.
Your design can be any combination of photo (copyright free), drawing and text. The design should:
- be readable on both a small and large scale (suitable for brochures, banners, posters, etc.)
- perhaps incorporate something that identifies it with Santa Barbara (e.g., a map, iconic architecture, or other imagery)
- ideally be in Photoshop® or Illustrator® file format (but other formats can be accepted)
Include with your design a short paragraph explaining why you think it is appropriate for Indivisible. If you have a slogan idea, send that on too!
To get ideas, have a look at other Indivisible group pages (e.g., Seattle, Houston, Sherman Oaks, Santa Cruz, Austin – there are many!) or see those below. And also get inspired by the Indivisible Guide site and Indivisible’s Guiding Principles.
Submissions are due September 18. Please email them (and any questions) to indivisiblesb@gmail.com . The email subject line should read: “Logo contest: Make ISB Visible.” Include your name and a way to contact you. (If your file is very large, please send by DropBox or similar.)
Let’s get visible, let’s make ourselves known, and let’s have some fun while we’re at it!
