The Santa Barbara League of Women Voters’ February Forum will present a program covering the global and local context of reproductive rights. Both theory and practice will be discussed, including the public health aspects of maternity and child health.
Invited speakers include:
* Laury Oaks – Professor of Feminist Studies at UCSB and expert on reproductive issues will focus on the larger issues of reproductive rights and politics.
* Van Do-Reynoso – Santa Barbara County Public Health Department
* Jenna Tosh – Executive Director of Planned Parenthood California Central Coast
The community forum is cosponsored by the Santa Barbara Public Library and Santa Barbara TV. Sound provided by Gary Atkins, Sound Systems. It is free and open to the public.
